Can anyone please tell me how many types of serial number are there for a smart card. I am working on a smart card with three chips (MiFare Desfire and iCLASS for contactless) and (Crescendo 1150 for contact). CLM client (running on Win XP SP3) I am trying to read a Gemalto.NET smart card. The message I get is 'Invalid smart card serial number. Smart card information not available for the suppield smart card.' The Gemalto utilities have no problem reading the card on this host. I am not sure what to make of.
