We are in the process of switching our household from dairy products to all non dairy products and have just switched our cow's milk to plant based milks. Our first try was a non Walmart store brand in a 1/2 gallon size in the almond vanilla flavor and we fell in love with it. Silk Almond Milk vanilla flavor is fantastic!

It has great flavor and has substituted for all our milk needs so far. It really didn't seem different to us as far as 'texture' since we where use to skim cow's milk. We haven't tried it in baking yet but have watched countless numbers of YouTube videos using Almond or Soy milk in place of cow's milk so we don't think that will be a problem. The best part of the Silk Soy or Almond milks is they are in 'Tetra' packs that don't need refrigeration so we can stock up and have some in our pantry at all times so we won't have to be running out to pick up some 'milk'. We would give this 5 stars but the price is high for the quart size. We can purchase a store brand 1/2 gallon for less than $1 more at our local store. But for convenience and emergencies we will always keep a few Silk Almond or Soy milks on hand.
